The slogan of new Nokia C1-00 phone is to take control of your phone with support of two SIM cards and a range of practically everyday features. By using the phone one can easily switch between two SIM cards with one touch of button. Call cost can be managed by choosing the SIM card of your choice. By using this phone you can keep both your SIM cards safe stored inside the phone.
Double SIM means that the C1-00 has two internal slots but only one SIM at a time and if user needs to switch between two SIM cards just the menu provided. This is different from dual SIM where there are two active SIM cards which we can use at any time.
Nokia C1-00 is identical to Nokia 1616 announced last year. It got 1.8″ 128 x 160 pixel display, built-in flashlight, FM radio and a modernized Series 30 interface. This device is not designed for data connectivity rather it is specially designed for making calls and text messages. The talk time provided on this phone is very good which 13 is hours. The standby time on this phone is 48 days which is quite amazing and it is equal to almost 7 weeks. The whole weight of this device is 73 grams and measures 107 x 45 x 15 mm. The C1-00 can be used with Nokia’s optional bicycle charger too, so there might be no need to ever plug it in.
At last we will say that this is nice looking phone and the best thing about this phone is it only cost about 30 pounds. This phone will be available in the market in the third quarter of the year 2010 which is most probably in September. The colors available are red, grey, blue and green.
